Children's Minister

Pete O'Hare

Pete has had a heart for kids his entire adult life. After graduating from

Penn State University in 1995 with a bachelor’s degree in business management, he

moved to Houston to start his career. Giving his life to Jesus at the age of 22, he soon

found a church home with Autumn Creek, obeying God’s command of baptism in 1997.

Since then, ACBC has been Pete’s second home, serving the children’s ministry in various

capacities alongside his wife, Veronica, and their two children, Lorna and Samuel.

In 2021, he was called by ACBC to serve as Children’s Minister, a role he has held ever since.

His vision is rooted in the idea that “Kids Can Serve”, drawn from his favorite verse,

1 Timothy 4:12 – “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an

example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity.”
