Pastor's Bio

Billy is a native Houstonian who graduated from Cy-Fair High School in 1985. At age 18, he felt the call into the Gospel ministry and later attended Blinn Jr. College. While taking a break from college, he went into the US Army during Desert Storm. Upon his return, he completed college and went back into the ministry. He happily served as the children’s minister for four different churches as well as the mission field for over 30 years. He accepted the call by Autumn Creek to be the children’s minister in 1998 and served in that capacity for twenty years before moving to Associate Pastor in 2018. He served faithfully in this role from 2018 to October 2024, when he accepted the position of Interim Pastor for Autumn Creek. In early 2025, Billy was unanimously voted in as the Senior Pastor for ACBC.  

His hope is that Autumn Creek will always be a loving and welcoming family that will draw all who come into the family through compassion, grace, and mercy, and will be obedient to the Great Commission and be disciple-makers.
