Laurel became a member of Autumn Creek Baptist Church in 1995. Shortly thereafter, in 1997,
she married the love of her life, Ross Hintz. She became the Mother’s Day Out Director in 2007
and enjoys the time ministering with her staff, the littles, and their families. She also serves on
the finance committee for Autumn Creek, as well as being a deacon's wife. Laurel is the proud
mother of two adult sons, Alex Hintz, and Ryan Hintz. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the
University of Houston and enjoys traveling, rooting for the Astros, Texans, and UH Cougars,
gardening, and spending quality time with her family.
